Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)-


Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)- the process by which adults are instructed in the Doctrine of the Church and are prepared to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, First Penance (Confession) , Holy Eucharist (Communion) and Confirmation. This class is offered on Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 pm in the Rectory Classroom (Maurer Room) from September 14, 2015 until March 21, 2016 (except for Holidays). This program is designed to prepare 1) adult non-Catholics seeking information to understand and/or to enter the Catholic Church, and 2) adult baptized Catholics seeking First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation. Anyone who desires a better understanding of Catholic teachings and practices are welcomed. No registration is required. Ash Wednesday Masses February 18th (a day of mandatory fasting and abstinence)

  • This Mass includes the ritual “Washing of Feet”
  • After Mass, Night Watch is kept until Midnight in the Parish Hall

            3:00 p.m………..………. Celebration of the Lord’s Passion (Veneration of the Cross & Communion Service)
