What: Eucharistic Retreat for High School Students
When: 3pm Friday, February 6th to 3pm Sunday, February 8th, 2026
Where: Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD
Cost: $130/person plus money for lunch on Sunday

Two ways to pay:

  1. WRITE A CHECK out to “St. Raymond’s” and drop it off at the parish office.
  2. PAY BY CREDIT CARD online by following these steps:

      • It is VERY important that you choose this option!

What is Mount 2000?

“Mount2000 is a Eucharistic retreat for high school students sponsored by Mount St. Mary’s Seminary and University. The retreat was started by the Mount seminarians about 15-20 years ago in preparation for the Jubilee Year 2000. It was such a great success that the seminarians decided to continue it even after 2000. Every year, high school youth have a chance to come and hear some of the best and most dynamic Catholic speakers in the country, spend time with seminarians, priests, and religious, enjoy one another’s company, and – most importantly – spend time with the Lord in the Sacraments: in Mass, in Confession, and especially in the time offered for prayer in front of the Eucharist.

The retreat lasts from Friday evening, at 6:30pm, until Sunday morning after 10am Mass (normally finishing around 12 noon). Not only do the students have the opportunity for an awesome retreat experience, but they have time to look around the campus of Mount Saint Mary’s University, go to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes (“The Grotto”), get to know some of the seminarians and college students at the Mount, and meet young Catholics from all over the East Coast. Meals (Friday dinner until Sunday breakfast and a snack for the road home) are included in the registration fee; lodging is found on the floors of the gym facilities of the University; and a fun and prayerful event is promised for all who come open and ready to encounter the Lord through this awesome weekend retreat!
