CATHOLIC COLLEGE
- Cardinal Newman Society Essay Scholarship Contest for High School Seniors. Compete for a scholarship of $5,000 with the chance for up to $20,000! Deadline: February 18th.
- The winner of the Contest will be awarded $5,000 toward the cost of attending one of the institutions recommended in The Newman Guide. The scholarship is made possible thanks to the generosity of Joseph and Ann Guiffre, supporters of the Newman Society and faithful Catholic education
- Additionally, there is the opportunity for the winner of the Contest to be awarded $20,000 over the course of four years.
- Associates of John Bosco Scholarship Opportunities Applications will open sometime during the first week of February 2025
- The Associates of St. John Bosco is pleased to offer scholarships to undergraduate students who have demonstrated an intense desire to live out their faith on their college campus and who seek to serve the Church in some capacity after graduation. We offer three general scholarships in the amount of $4,000 and one scholarship, the Vincent T. Vaccaro Education Scholarship, in the amount of $6,000 to a student who will be engaged in education or work with young adults. Freshman scholarship funding may continue into the next three years if certain criteria are met and, of course, if funding is available, for potentially $16,000 to $24,000 in total scholarship funding!

PRO-LIFE
- Pro-Life Multimedia Contest sponsored by Youth Apostles has 2 divisions, one for grades 7-9 & one for grades 10-12. (Prizes: $60 Amazon gift card, $40 Amazon gift card for each division) Deadline: January 8, 2024
- State Pro-Life Essay Contest sponsored by VSHL open to high school seniors. Due January 24, 2024. (Prizes $1000, $500, $200)
- National Right to Life Pro-Life Essay Contest has 2 divisions, one for grades 7-9 & one for grades 10-12. Due January 21, 2024. (Prizes $400, $300,$200 for each division)
- Alex & Geline Williams VSHL (Virginia Society for Human Life) State Oratory Contest open to grades 9-12; does not seem to be open yet for 2024 as information has not been updated on their website, but I have an email in to VSHL to get more information and will get back to you once I hear from them. (Prizes $500 and chance to compete at National Level; $250, $100) Due: TBD?
- State winner, if junior or senior, will compete at national level for prize of $1000, $750, $500, $250
- National Pro-Life Video Contest sponsored by NRLC open to anyone ages 15-25. Entries are due May 31, 2024. Winner receives a free registration to the National Right to Life convention and tickets to the annual Prayer Breakfast and Closing Banquet. The top 3 finalists also get free entry into the LifeFest Film Festival in Hollywood, CA.
RELIGIOUS FREEDOM
- USCCB Religious Liberty Essay Contest 2024 open to high school juniors and seniors. Entries are due March 29, 2024
- The first-place essay will be published Our Sunday Visitor, and the author will be awarded a $2,000 scholarship.
- Second place will receive a $1,000 scholarship, and third place will receive a $500 scholars
CONSTITUTION
- Scholarship: Rewarding Students For Investing In Themselves & Our Nation
- You can earn up to $10,000 in scholarship money while strengthening your knowledge of Constitutional history! Scholarships can be used for tuition at universities, private high schools, and trade schools. Homeschooled students are
- Open to age 16 or older, and currently enrolled in public or private high school, homeschool, college/university, or trade school. Scholarships can be used to further the education of award recipients at universities, private high schools, and trade schools.
- Prizes: 2 winners receive $10,000, 2 winners receive $5,000, and 35 winners receive $2,500.
- There are two opportunities per year to be awarded a scholarship! The deadline for the first round was June 30, 2023. The scholarship application deadline for the second round is Sunday, December 31, 2023.
