This is a reminder of two important events at the parish this week:

1. Wednesday February 27th there will be a “Holy Hour for Life, Marriage and Religious Liberty” beginning at 6:00 p.m. It will be followed by Mass at 7:00 p.m. As we sadly enter the last days of the Pontificate of our beloved Pope Benedict XVI, who steps down from the Chair of Peter on Thursday, February 28th at 2:00 p.m. EST, we will offer special prayers for Pope Benedict, his successor and for the Church. If you cannot make it for Mass, consider stopping by and praying for these intentions during our regular Wednesday Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from after the 8:00 a.m. Mass until 7:00 p.m. Recite the Litany of Liberty, Novena Prayers to St. Thomas More, and the Prayer For Religious Freedom.

2. Thursday, February 28th at 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall, Father Scalia will return with the second installment of our Lenten Series on the Beatitudes. Attendance during the first week (last week) is NOT a prerequisite for attending the talk this week. Enjoy an enriching hour of spiritual guidance as we strive to live out the Beatitudes.
