Welcome to Saint Raymond of Penafort Parish!
Registration is important because…
-your parish priest is responsible for your sacramental needs.
-it provides you opportunities and support as you journey in faith, through praying, serving, giving and learning.
-parishioners receive important communications throughout the year, including Christmas and Easter, keeping up-to-date on parish news.
-it is required for specific celebrations, such as weddings and baptisms.
-registration allows consideration for partial tuition assistance to catholic schools.
-other parishes often request verification of a person’s status as a practicing Catholic, attendance at Mass, etc., when that person has been asked to be a Godparent or sponsor. Without registration, no such verification can be made.
-for Sunday offerings to be confidentially recorded by parish staff for proof of donation for tax purposes.
-allows families to participate in lay ministry (as registration in the parish is required).
