Beginning Ash Wednesday, February 18th – March 29th.
40 Days for Life started in 2004 in Bryan/College Station, Texas. Since then it has spread to over 1000 cities in 64 countries. We are proud to be one of the early locations and humbly thank God for allowing us the opportunity to stand up for the sanctity of life in this way.
Folks are welcome to witness at any time, but our parish commitment date/times are:
Saturday 21 Feb from 12-3
Saturday 7 March from 2-5
Saturday 28 March from 12-3
Sunday 29 March from 9-3

Saint Raymond’s has been participating in this peaceful prayerful public witness twice a year for over 15 years. Some folks have volunteered since their childhood. For others this may be a new opportunity. Welcome back and welcome aboard!
Our vigil location is the same as it has been for the past several years. The sidewalk in front of 900 S Washington Street in Falls Church. fallschurchhealthcare.com
And we do the same thing on the sidewalk. We pray – peacefully.
Some passersby choose to make comments from their cars as they drive by. Some are supportive! Some are uninformed or nasty. I say that those folks self identify as being in need of prayer. It’s a busy street. Vehicles move along. We continue to pray.
If at any time we feel threatened (which has never happened to me), we leave.
