September 29 is the 5th Friday and it will soon be time for our parish Christ House Committee to host dinner at the Christ House Dining Room in Alexandria. Sister Annie confirmed that parish group meals continue to be boxed To Go meals at the door for guests who are homeless or food insecure.
Sister Annie would like us to deliver 65 Meals. Guest numbers have been variable, between 32 and 52, with plans for seconds for at least 1/3 of those served, including the men living in Christ House‘ transitional housing.
Food Drop off is scheduled for Thursday 28 September between 5:30 and 7:30 pm.
Kitchen prep in St. Raymond’s Kitchen is scheduled for Friday 29 September between 11 and 2 pm
