Christ House Committee Thanks YOU!

Greetings, Friend of St. Raymond’s Christ House Committee!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank you sooo much for all your contributions of time, effort, love, and hard work,  for those of you on the St. Raymond’s Kitchen and Christ House Dining Hall Shifts!

We could not have done it without the collective team effort.  Hats off to all who signed up to donate items for tonight’s dinner.

We served 65 plates and some seconds (folks would have definitely liked a 3rd hot dog!!!).  The guests enjoyed the entree and sides and were very grateful!

Several of us drove to Southeast D.C. and delivered the extra food to the Missionaries of Charity at the Queen of Peace Mission in D.C.

We gave them extras of roasted potatoes, watermelon, hot dogs, chili topping, hot dog buns, condiments, and cheese.  So your donations and contributions went beyond

the Dining Hall in Alexandria, VA.  The Missionaries of Charity feed between 80-100 homeless men on Saturday morning alone.

The Sisters were so grateful and thankful to us and to God.

Thank you, everyone!  May God continue to bless us each and every one.

P.P.P.S.  We will send out a notice of a Committee meeting so we can prepare for December and the months in 2017 which have a 5th Friday.
