A Delicious Success! Thank You To All The Christ House Volunteers and Contributions for the Saint Raymond’s “Americana” Picnic!

Thank you to all the volunteers at St. Raymond’s and beyond who helped host our latest meal at Christ House in Alexandria this past Friday, July 31st. Whether you BBQed, cooked or baked, donated food, dropped off items, stored food or helped us prep, set-up, serve, and clean up, or supported our data needs and start-up budget, you helped make this meal a nice dinner. The diners were very pleased with the barbeque meal.  It was a nice treat for the guests. “Better than Popeye’s!” one of the diners told us. All were thankful and many voiced their compliments and blessings. Thanks to your generous support we were able to serve not only the 70 diners but also some seconds AND leave some leftovers for the 17 transitional residents at Christ House.

Our next meal is October 30, 2015.  SAVE THE DATE for “Chili Night!”
