Just call the number posted outside the poll and tell them you want to vote curbside. An election officer will bring your ballot outside for you to vote and they will scan it for you.)

To avoid delays if you have not voted recently check your file online to make sure your information (name, address etc…) is correct.

Go to: https://vote.elections.virginia.gov/VoterInformation and click on Check Registration Status. This will also list the poll and its’ address where you are to vote.

ABSENTEE VOTING

This year there is much concern about whether the mail system can handle the huge demand for absentee voting.  In Fairfax County there are two ways to vote absentee:

1) Mail (Protect your vote and choose option 2 below)

2) Absentee Voting In-Person/Early Voting

The safest and easiest way for you to vote absentee is to vote Absentee In-Person/Early Voting. There are three locations near St. Raymond’s and 12 others throughout the county plus the Fairfax County Government Center.

Voting In-Person/Early Voting Locations)

NOTE: If you do not wish to go inside the building, you may call the number posted outside the location, from your car and tell them you want to vote curbside. An election officer will bring your ballot outside to you. It will then immediately be voted inside in a voting machine.  No mailing is necessary and your vote is captured just as if it were Election Day.

There is no longer a requirement for a reason why you are voting absentee. It is considered Early Voting.  Curbside voting is also available at all polls on Election Day, November 3rd. If you want to avoid the wait time on Election Day, vote Absentee In-Person early!
